John Henry Brown, born Lancaster, PA 1818-died Philadelphia, PA 1891 · 1846
Mrs. Ellis was the wife of the North Carolina governor who signed the secession order aligning North Carolina with the Confederacy. The governor died in office on July 7, 1861.
