Waistcoat front
1780–95
Waistcoat right front panel with standing collar, straight hem edge, and pocket welts in ivory silk. Embroidered in twelve colors of silk floss, with metal-wrapped silk threads, coils of metal wire, sequins, and paste jewels. Overall tiny floral sprig, small-scale floral border at center front, and a design of a blindfolded Cupid being driven by a bird. Trimmed with four color woven silk fringe.
