In the distance at center, a monumental billowing cloud catches the vibrant red and pink light of the setting sun, which also casts warm hues on the surrounding clouds. Behind, the evening sky is shown as a gradient from deep blue, above, to yellow-green at the horizon. A possible fire scar is visible on the nearby hill at lower right.
