ca. 1830
A square handscreen with semi-circles cut away in each corner, and a black turned wood handle. The stiff outer area acts as a frame for a thin paper center, which contains seven views of a park, which can be rolled through the frame by means of ivory spindles on either side. By holding the handscreen up to the light, the scenes appear illuminated.
