Design shows diamond shaped frame with pseudo-Egyptian hieroglyphics and figures in medallions. Three pseudo-Egyptian animal gods appear within the diamond shapes. The colors – yellow, tan, brown, deep pink, and red – are overprinted on pink, light-blue, deeper blue, green, and gray. Hieroglyphics and frame are printed in black over a yellow background. In one medallion, kneeling female figure before animal-headed statue is against blue ground, very unevenly applied – possibly by hand. Green is made by printing blue over yellow. Left selvage present and shows three blue threads.
