Aesthetic neo-Renaissance all-over pattern of scattered bulb-like flowers and leaves among abstract designs reminiscent of ornamented architectural elements, all only partially-seen: arches, hexagonal coffers, fluted friezes; rectangular repeat in off-set columns; sketchy line quality; hatched shading on flowers give textured effect reminiscent of textiles; muted color scheme of dark red, light browns, greens on pale green ground.
