Khuda Baksh Liby. Bihar/May,54,A05b Akbar while hunting on the outskirts of Thaneshwar, learns that a large fair is being held at Kole city, a short distance form his hunting camp and goes there: a painting form Tarikh Khandan Tamuriah treasured by the Khuda Baksh Oriental Library, Bihar. The Tarika Khandan Timuriah is the foremost amongst the reassures of the Oriental Library. As a work of art this volume is priceless. It is adorned with more than 133 illuminated pages which are the works of the some of the most notable painters of Akbarʼs time. The pictures are enemelled in gold and are exquisite in colour. Sieges and battles are the principal themes.
