Also, a nurse, or actor, or writer. It's a nice question, to look back and realise I wanted to look after things/ people, and to be creative, even then. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭   𝐝𝐨   𝐲𝐨𝐮   𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲   𝐝𝐨 ? Currently, I work as a performer, producer, and workshop facilitator. I also co-founded a body positivity and creative empowerment project. 𝐖𝐡𝐲   𝐚𝐫𝐞   𝐲𝐨𝐮   𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞   𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 ? I'm here because knowing what I do about what's happening in the world, and the part that our species is playing in that, and the threat to all species because of it, I need to be, it's important that I show up. I feel that deeply, in a way perhaps that I don't fully understand. 𝐀𝐫𝐞   𝐲𝐨𝐮   𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 ?⁣ Truthfully, I don't know how hopeful I am that humanity will mobilise on the scale needed to turn things around. But I also don't know that feeling hopeful is a necessary requirement for trying to do what we can to help, or for loving and honouring the life that we have, that we share, that it's our enormous privilege to be part of, and our responsibility to try to protect. These are deeply troubled times in so many ways, but I'm very grateful to be a small part of them.⁣ Credit: João Daniel Pereira
