Folio 111v: Rustam Spits Qalun on His Own Spear

Traveling tojoin Zal and the Iranian army, Rustam and Kay Qubad encounter a band of Turanian soldiers. Qalun, a Turanian officer, launches himselfat Rustam, who charges forward. Qalun then sticks Rustam with his lance, but Rustam jerks it out of his hand and spears him. He lifts Qalun and sticks the lance in the ground, with Qalun impaled as ion a spear.
