Group M I. Oil painting depicting the colonel and Count Carl Fredric von Lieven. Description enl Peyron: Chest image from the front, to the veins, to the head alone, to the poodle with a knot in the neck, and to a hair loop laid from the back on the right side of the coat of arms. Imposed harness, above the neckline a small crow; on top of the harbour light blue, open coat of arms with overdressed buttons of the same color; on the venstra side the knight’s sign of the swedish, attached to the coat of arms of a white rosette with light blue edges. Perception: frame of gilded wood with strong snail ornaments at the corners; the closest to the portrait a narrow siring in rococo style. Von Liewen was the Colonel and Head of the Liewenska Regiment (later the Swedish Royal Queen’s live regiment) 1761-1762. 2016-05-06 MM.
