The painting has hung in the Craftsmen’s Association in Vejle, the corner of Dam and Havnegade. In the years 1975-79, the association’s premises were used for cinema (1st floor) and restaurant/dance venue (living room) with Søren Kjærgaard and Birgitte Mogensen as owners/tenant (boats and). When selling out cinema and restaurant in 1979, the painting was taken to Birgitte Mogensen’s native village, Horne on Funen and lowered the local assembly house in Horne. Here hung the picture in the small hall in the years 1979-1998. In 1998, the assembly house was renovated, etc. and the painting returned to Birgitte Mogensen, who then contacted the museum and the archive. Painted by Regnar Jacobsen in 1926. Motive: Vejle seen from Skyttehuset. On the left side of the motif various craftsmen who show towards the city.
