The painting depicts 14 people, some standing and some sitting, in a room with a prominent tiled stove, a desk and a doorway. The persons are from left: Carl Johan Lewenhaupt, 1835-1920, major, pension Livreg’s Husars, Carl Johan Daevel, 1837-1905, Major Göta Livgarde, Sven Gabriel Tigerman Holst, 1830-1906, Horseman Livreg’s Husars, Thure August Ekdahl, 1842, Major in the Army 10/6 1894, Captain at 1st Svea artillery, bitr. Teacher The School of Sjökrig. Sitting: Thomas Fredrik Rudolf Lysholm, former. 1846, Major in Army 2/9 1893, Captain at 2nd Svea art.reg. Standing Leaning: Carl Wilhelm Ridderstad, 1843-1930, Colonel of the Army in 1900, Elfsborg Standing at the Writing Pulp: Kave Fromhold Lagergren, 1843-1907, Treasurer at the Cassation from 13/2 1878, the former chamber printer from 24/11 1869. Standing in Door Running: Pehr Christian Robert Lovén, 1841-1924, Colonel, sek c Göta livgarde, also Chairman of the Garnisonskårens Executive Board, Carl von Ehrenheim, practicing Livreg’s branch year. The ladies unidentified. The blackboard has a solid and gilded frame with a high profile. Ultimately, a thin rod of berries and garland runs and inside a very strong profile of acorns, other berries and bay leaves.
