Folio 63v: Sam Comes to Mount Alburs

Word of the child on Mount Alburz reaches Sam and, prompted by a dream he goes to the mountain to search for his son. Looking up at the simurgh's nest, he spies Zal but cannot climb up to reach him. The simurgh reluctantly brings Zal to his father, giving the boy a feather to burn when he needs the simurgh's help.
