Summary: Sketch of the representation of a mummy found in the cove of Chacota (Arica, Chile). It is part of a set of three notes with similar theme, inventoried with the numbers 02203 and 02347, taken in the same place and attributed to Felipe Bauzá, according to the newspaper of the Lieutenant of ship D. Antonio Tova Arredondo. Performed during the Malaspina expedition, which took place between 1789 and 1794. Commander Alejandro Malaspina lead the expedition organized by the Spanish crown to tour his American possessions, according to a plan presented by the sailor himself. The material gathered is scattered in different institutions of Spain, England, Argentina and Chile. Felipe Bauzá was in charge of drawing and director of letters and drawings of the expedition.
