Hercules breekt het juk van de aristocratische regering, op de achtergrond het schip van staat in nood. Niet gebruikt ontwerp voor De Revolutie, allegorische decoratie opgericht op het Burgerplein (Koningsplein) te Amsterdam bij het Alliantiefeest op 19 juni 1795.
