Group C II. Life strap of brown leather, 5.3 cm wide. Life strip buckle of iron. The strap has stamps: 1) “Nancy,” f ö unreadable. 2) round with the endorsement “Eugens Girando, 1918” (company name). Three cartridge bags of brown leather, “natural paint,” for Lebelrifle m/1886. They consist of lids, which have a piece of leather with buttonhole for closing on the front. On the front a button and on the back a wide sleeve of the same leather to attach it to the strap and a ring to connect to the thornister strap. The cartridge bags have on the back of the lid The back of the lid has stamps: 1) round with the inscription “Eugens Girandeu, 1918” (company name). 2) oval with inscription “Commission de... 10.91918,” partly illegible. Carry straps for cartridge bags, consisting of three straps, connected by an iron ring. All three straps have brass hooks, which serve to connect the carrying straps with the cartridge bags (two on the front and one on the back). LITT Les uniformes de l 'armée Francaise.
