The author of the drawing is Vilmantas Lapinskas, 2nd grade student of the Kulva Ninth Grade School in Jonava district. The drawing was created during competitions and educational classes held in 1991. Children from all over the country responded to the invitation to depict peace and Lithuania's quest for freedom in their drawings dedicated to January 13th. The authors of the drawings were kindergarten and nursery school children, primary school children and graduates.
