Drawing by Evaldas Baniukevičius, student of class 3c of Alytus 12th Secondary School. The drawing depicts the tower of Gediminas Castle in Vilnius and a peaceful crowd of people gathered around it, supporting Lithuania. The drawing was created during competitions and educational sessions in 1991. Children from all over the country responded to the invitation to depict peace and Lithuania's quest for freedom in drawings dedicated to January 13. The authors of the drawings are kindergarten, primary and post-primary school pupils.
