Drawing by Irma Vidauskaitė, 6c class student of Raseiniai 3rd Secondary School. The drawing depicts the events of 13 January 1991 in Vilnius through the eyes of a child. The composition depicts a clash scene between peaceful civilians and Soviet troops. People - including children - stand in front of approaching tanks and armed soldiers. The drawing was created during competitions and educational sessions in 1991. Children from all over the country responded to the invitation to depict peace and Lithuania's quest for freedom in drawings dedicated to January 13. The authors of the drawings are kindergarten, primary and post-primary school pupils.
