This is a hammered silver long cross penny of Edward I (1272-1307). In this instance, the coin is from the 'New Coinage', begun in 1279. The obverse has a bust facing with a type 1 crown, much of the portrait detail is no lost. The reverse has the long cross fourché with three pellets to each quadrant. The coin is in fair condition but it is struck off centre, with some limited clipping and a small chip to the rim.
