Hammered silver penny of Edward I. The portrait on the obverse is worn but the tri-lobed crown can be made out. The obverse reads EDW R ANGL D[NS H]YB. The reverse shows a long cross with three pellets in each quarter, and reads CIVITAS LONDON. Part of the rim is damaged. Diameter 19.12mm, thickness 0.5mm, weight 1.23g.
