A Post-Medieval sixpence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Tower mint and probably portcullis initial mark (1566, second coinage). The coin is very worn and has been bent, with damage to the edges of the flan. The portrait is more worn than the rest of the coin.Reference: North 1997
