A silver hollow button cover, stamped with a portrait bust apparently of Charles II, crowned, within a border. The sheet is thin and fragmentary with double walled construction. The remains of a maker's mark are on the reverse, possibly a TS in a shaped shield above a star. Given the possible identity of the bust, the object can be tentatively dated to 1660-1685.
