A copper alloy radiate of the Roman Empire. The obverse side shows a radiate bust facing right. Owing to the level of wear on the coin no other details of the portrait are visible and nor is any of the obverse legend. Therefore the emperor portrayed and the exact date of the coin is uncertain. In general, copper alloy radiates date from 260AD to 296AD AD (Reece periods 13-14).The reverse type and reverse legend cannot be determined as the reverse side is also very worn. No mint marks are visible.This coin is roughly circular with a segment of the circumference missing. The broken edge is very worn suggesting this is old damage. Both sides have a brown patina with patches of orange. This coin is 13.49mm in diameter and 1.68mm thick. It weighs 1.19g.
