Mario Coluzzi (1938-2012), malariologist. Photograph by L.J. Bruce-Chwatt. From 1956 to 1966 Coluzzi, worked at the Istituto di Malariologia "Ettore Marchiafava". In 1965, he returned to the University of Rome in Biocca's Institute of Parasitology in the Faculty of Medicine. In 1975,he took a faculty position at the University of Camerino; returned full time to La Sapienza in 1982. Photographed in the house of his father, Alberto Coluzzi, near Monticelli (Esperia, Italy), in the 1960s, in the room where larvae of mosquitoes were bred.
