The photo is part of the Travel Report no. 1571 with the theme “Study of contemporary folk architecture from Maramures; drawing up the repertoire of contemporary folk craftsmen in the field of wood architecture,” author Doina Filimon. The investigation took place from January 20 to February 2, 1984. In image old house built in the technique of horizontal fir wreaths with a dranita roof, in four waters. The planimetry includes: narrow tinda without windows and ceiling, small odaie and large clean room (both with entrance through the tin), by converting the fall into “house” and the living room into “clean room.” Along the façade we spread the “pillar shrine” (“shale” with “brânci”). The pillars are united by arches.
