The photo is part of the Travel Report no. 1571 with the theme “Study of contemporary folk architecture from Maramures; drawing up the repertoire of contemporary folk craftsmen in the field of wood architecture,” author Doina Filimon. The investigation took place from January 20 to February 2, 1984. In image old house built in the technique of horizontal fir wreaths with a dranita roof, in four waters. The planimetry includes: narrow tinda without windows and ceiling, two rooms of equal size (both with the entrance through the tin). Along the façade and on the small side from the village extend the “pillar hearth” (“shatter” with “brânci”) joined by the arches.
