Photo showing Falköping City first postman Johannes Norén, born 15.8.1829. , born 15.8.1829. Ordinary postman of 13/1 1862. Former postman in Falköping. According to an old staff list, his behaviour was good. The salary was 200 Riksdaler a year + 50 Riksdaler in service money + cladding and postman difference. Reprofoto probably after a daguerreotype, probably taken in connection with Norén’s appointment as a regular bb in 1862. The photo belongs to Mrs Marianne Östhede, Finnhamn, Ingmarsö. Johannes Norén is the grandfather of her husband Karl-Erik.
