På baksidan antecknat: Soffa i empirestil. Har tillhört prosten Norder på Ryrs säteri (förut tillhört major v. Proschwitz 1850-talet) Köptes sedan på auktion efter denne av direktör Efr. Jacobowsky 1900. Såldes 1917 till bankdirektör i Jönköping Fotografier ges av herr Jacobowsky till Uddewalla museum sept. 1918.

Lundbäck, Maria

The photographer Maria Lundbäck was born in Uddevalla, where the father was a brewery owner. She learned the photograph from photographer Josefina Rydholm in Uddevalla. Eventually, Maria took over the studio in the South Queen Street 13. In 1883 she opened her own studio on 11 Lagerberg Street. In addition, she had a branch in Trollhättan for some time. It was as a portrait photographer that she became most famous, she received many awards and awards for her professional skill. She was also active in photodocumenting different events in the city, exhibitions, shops and industries. The photographs are now in the photo archive of the Museum of Bohusläns. Her tomb is in the North Cemetery in Uddevalla. See Objects: UM6247.
