Female sculpture. Probably a life-size copy of the “Muse with a scroll”, one of the so-called “Muses of Philiscus”. The sculpture is standing on a plinth with the weight on the right leg. Left foot is partly lifted from the ground. She wears a sleeveless chiton with a border at the upper edge, a himation with the fringe rendered by grooves´ and sandals. Sandal on right foot has profiled sides and is higher than the one on left foot. Front of sandals incised between first and second toe. Drilling-marks. Back more schematically rendered. Coarse-grained, white marble.
