MEDIEVAL FINGER RING

A fragment from a medieval iconographic finger-ring, consisting only of the bezel. The bezel has two facets, the right showing a standing female figure with a hand to her breast and the left engraved with a flower in a pot (?). This would suggest a representation of the Virgin Mary at the Annunciation. However the engraving is very crude and this identification is tentative.
