Copper alloy strap end, length 35mm, width 26mm, thickness 2.5mm, weight 5.89g. The object consists of a crescent (one arm is truncated) that has an engraved border on its upper edge and engraved lines within forming a foliate pattern. The forward edge has a trefoil shaped protrusion which is decorated on its upper side with linear engraving, to creating a foliate pattern, the tip is truncated. The under side has a raised border creating a concave surface. This artefact dates to the 15th century.
