Cast copper alloy Anglo-Saxon button brooch. The brooch is very worn, with no surviving rim and only partial remains of the catchplate and lug for the attachment of the pin on the reverse. The design on the front is a fairly crude engraving of a human face-mask; there are traces of gilt present in the incised areas.B misc
