Cast copper mount, probably from furniture, in the form of a facing lion's head. The surface is quite corroded but some of the original engraving survives, two lentoid eyes with drilled holes forming the pupils, and curvilinear decoration framing the head to form a mane. A white coloured substance, possibly lead, is visible in the back.
