Incomplete folding end of Medieval folding strap clasp, sheet with arched-section bar mount attached by single rivet. Rocker-arm engraving line on sheet adjacent to front edge of bar mount. Ferrous material within the fold suggest that the frame was of iron. Mount 16 x 5mm. 14th – early 15th century.
