Romano-British hinged Dolphin brooch, complete and in fresh condition, pin distorted. Iron axis bar. Spool between two reels on both wings. D-sectioned bow decorated with a pair of short transverse grooves at top, a median groove containing rocker-arm engraving and offset or rib down both sides. Wingspan 40mm. Length 66.5mm. c.55 – c.80 AD.
