Medieval/post medieval double-hooked dress fastener, rectangular sheet plate decorated with rocker-arm engraving around the edges and in transverse and oblique lines and riveted to hooked strip. End of one hook missing. cf. Norwich Households no. 81, an example with the plate set lozenge-wise. Length 41mm. Plate 25 x 23mm. 15th – 16th century.
