Incomplete Medieval book or furniture fitting: domed sheet mount from book cover or casket with flange and jagged stub of continuation on one side. There are two round perforation next to the summit of the dome, and the flange is decorated with an engraved zig-zag with rocker-arm in the outside angles. Further linear engraving occurs on the stub. Probably 13th – 14th century.
