Medieval strap fitting: bar mount with straight-edged terminal lobes and large central lobe. The former with rivet holes, countersunk on the underside (one rivet surviving), and the latter with single, central decorative hole and cross-hatched engraving. Rivet projecting 2.5mm from reverse. 14 x 9mm. 14th century.
