Fragment of a medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops probably ovoid. Extant are parts of one edge and one side with a rabbet on the outside of the corner at which they meet. Decoration on the edge consists of a wavy engraved line overlain and followed by very fine rocker-arm engraving.Length more than 20.5mm. Width more than 35mm.Probably similar in form and size (though not in ornament) to a complete example from Morley, Norfolk (HER 29929, NMS-C141C6), and a fragment from Tacolneston, Norfolk (HER 37681, NMS-AC2292) and related to a more common and smaller type with rectangular loops (Fingerlin 1971, 185, Abb. 301; Whitehead 2003, no. 482; London Museum Medieval Catalogue pl.
