Front part of a medieval copper alloy rectangular buckle plate broken at the fold, with frame recesses, a pin slot, one rivet near the inisde edge and, near both edges, pairs of two lines of finely executed interrupted rocker-arm engraving giving the appearance of tiny addorsed triangles. Both pairs are additonally interrupted by a wavy line. One is bisected by the pin slot. A wide chamfer runs along one side and a narrower one along the other. 35 x 13.5mm. The thickness varies from 0.5 - 1.1mm. c.1230 - c.1400.
