Cast copper-alloy mount in the shape of a crowned head. The front has the facial features made by engraving and the reverse is slightly hollow. The crown has two points to either side and three points in the centre; the face has eyes made up of V shapes with the point outwards, and a straight mouth with grooves to either side. There is a rivet hole through the forehead and a copper-alloy rivet with a separate circular copper-alloy rove surviving.
