Flint tool, probably dating to the Neolithic period. The tool is a burin and may have been used for piercing or engraving. The tool has a curved shape (like an ‘s’) with two pointed ends. One of these ends appears to have been more worked than the other creating a short sharp point suitable for piercing. The tool is made from honey coloured flint and weighs 6g. It measures 49mm in length, 14.6mm in width and 7.9mm in thickness.
