Two of the figures have their sleeves rolled up to their elbows, the other does not. Two wear hats. They hold the tub above a tree stump which is situated between the three laden figures. Possibly exhibited in the Great Exhibition.

She wears a long cord around her neck to which a circular cameo is attached. Her right hand rests in her lap whilst her left hand holds a small rectangular framed daguerreotype. Her brooch, cameo, daguerreotype frame and the visible part of the chair back are hand coloured. Her hair is worn in a middle parting. To her left is a table covered with a floral patterned table cloth, on this is an indistinguishable black object. Plain background.
