Krigare iklädd romersk rustning. Figuren har långt, lockigt hår och stora mustascher. Fältbindeln eller manteln är draperad snett över bröstet från vänster axel. Mannen är barhuvad. Vid vänster fot kan en plymagerad hjälm skönjas. Huvudet är vridet något åt höger. Kroppstyngden förefaller vila på bägge benen. Höger ben är placerat något framför det vänstra. Benen är stövelklädda. Skulpturen och bakstycket är snidade i ett stycke. Armarna är snidade separat och sitter fästade vid bålen med dymlingar. Bakstycket är profilsvängt och baksidan är slät. Nedtill är bakstycket framdraget så att det bildas en kraftig sockel på vilken figuren står. Sockeln är dekorerad på sidorna. Bakstyckets övre del fortsätter snett uppåt och bildar en bred platta ovanför krigarens huvud. Skulpturen är kraftigt skadad. Ansiktet är mycket slitet. Höger hand samt vänster underarm saknas. Fot- och sockelpartiet är fragmentariskt. Rustningen är kraftigt sliten. Text in English: Warrior clad in roman armour, with long curly hair and large moustache. The armour is severely worn. Field-badge or mantle is draped at an angle over the chest from the left shoulder. The figure is bare-headed, his plumed helmet sits at his left foot. The head is twisted somewhat to the right. The weight of the body appears to rest on both legs. The right leg is placed a little in front of the left leg. The figure is wearing boots. The sculpture is carved from a single piece of wood, except for the arms which are carved separately and attached to the trunk with dowels. The figure is placed in front of a profiled back-board, with a smooth reverse side, which is drawn forward at the bottom to form a robust base upon which the figure stands. The base is decorated on either side. At the top, the back-board continues above the heads to form a wide plate-like section over the warriors'' head. The sculpture is severely damaged. The face is badly deformed and the right hand and left lower arm are missing. The foot and base sections are also somewhat fragmented.
