Nereid med tjockt, nedhängande hår och naken överkropp. Armarna är reducerade till dekorativa bladslingor. Ett stort treflikigt akantusblad markerar övergången till de hopslingrade fiskstjärtarna. Skulpturens fiskstjärt slingrar sig kring stjärten till en fisk eller en delfin, vars huvud är synligt vid skulpturens fotända. Bakstycket är kraftigt och snidat i ett med skulpturen. Baksidan är försedd med hak eller urtag. Skulpturens profil är svagt S-formad. Skulpturen är mycket välbevarad. Text in English: Nereid with thick, flowing hair and nude trunk. The transition from the upper body to the fish tails is marked by a large acanthus-like leafy decoration. The arms are replaced by leafy ornamentation. The fish tail is entwined with the tail of a fish or dolphin; the fish or dolphin head can be seen at the sculpture''s foot end. The figure is carved in one piece with a robust backboard. The back side of the backboard was carved with hollowed out grooves. The profile is slightly S-shaped. The sculpture is very well preserved.
