How conscience warped distorts each holy face, and makes sighs and groans burst from these babes of grace. One feels the Devil dancing in his maw; another s'd him to a mere out-law. Some feel sharp thorns their consciences to prick a old done deeds do make their stomachs sick. Whilst lasses mourn some late transactions past, And looks repentant say -; they are my last.
