Lettering: The young Loiserolles was in a profound sleep in his prison, when the satellites of Robespierre came to drag him to the place of execution, was called on by name to come forth. His father being awaked, cried out Here am I, and making a motion with his hand, said, do not disturb my companion. He was immediately born away, and put to death. Thus he gives life a second time to his son. July the 26th 1794 ...Fragonard inv. del. Idnarpila sculp.
