Observed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Fulham Road, London. The beginning of the operation is shown, with just the two main surgeons: afterwards, they leave and let others take over for the sewing up etc. Left, a female nurse lays out the instruments, the anaesthetist is seated to right In the left background, the stands and floodlights of Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge, are visible through the window.
