Rectangular pattern sheet for with pattern on both sides. The pattern was filled with wax to then be transferred to a thin rice paper. The negative pattern was transferred to the glass, after which etching salts were added. They share the pattern as carried out in relief, no protective layer of wax left behind (after the pressure of rice paper on the glass), therefore its surfaces became etched. Example of text from stamp trycKen: “ELME 1930 OLLERS,” “STOCKHOLMS EXHIBITION 1930” Inventory 2007-02-20. Enrolled in the Main Catalogue 2007. Function: Used to perform etch stamping
